Sightings From Around The World

There is no doubt that UFO sightings have increased exponentially over the last couple of years! And here we are not yet out of January 2009, when we have already had several "major" sightings, including of course the Conisholme Wind Turbine crash. I believe we are moving towards a culmination of events, that over the next few years will see a full disclosure of the truth. Of course what that truth might be, is anybodies guess! Whatever that truth might be we at TSW will be displaying the evidence for all to see.

UFO pyramid reported over Kremlin

A giant pyramid which appears to be a UFO hovering over the Kremlin has caused frenzied speculation in Russia that it is an alien spacecraft.

The object has been compared to an Imperial Cruiser in the Star Wars films and witnesses estimated it could be up to a mile wide.

Two film clips exist which appear to show the same object and footage has been repeatedly playing on Russian television news channels.

The shots, one taken at night from a car and one during the day, were both filmed by amateurs.

The 'craft' was said to have hovered for hours over Red Square in the Russian capital.

The clips of the 'invasion' have gone to the top of the country's version of YouTube.

The identity of the shape has not been confirmed. Russian reports ruled out a UFO but police refused to comment.

Nick Pope, a former Ministry of Defence UFO analyst, said it was "one of the most extraordinary UFO clips I've ever seen".

"At first I thought this was a reflection but it appears to move behind a power line, ruling out this theory."

A spokesman for aerospace journal Jane's News said: "We have no idea what it is."

Mystery as spiral blue light display hovers above Norway

By Mail Foreign Service and Will Stewart
Last updated at 5:00 PM on 09th December 2009

A mysterious light display appearing over Norway last night has left thousands of residents in the north of the country baffled. Witnesses from Trøndelag to Finnmark compared the amazing sight to anything from a Russian rocket to a meteor or a shock wave - although no one appears to have mentioned UFOs yet. The phenomenon began when what appeared to be a blue light seemed to soar up from behind a mountain. It stopped mid-air, then began to circulate.

bluespiral

Within seconds a giant spiral had covered the entire sky. Then a green-blue beam of light shot out from its centre - lasting for ten to twelve minutes before disappearing completely.
The Norwegian Meteorological Institute was flooded with telephone calls after the light storm - which astronomers have said did not appear to have been connected to the aurora, or Northern Lights, so common in that area of the world. The mystery deepened tonight as Russia denied it had been conducting missile tests in the area. Fred Hansen, from Bø in Vesterålen, described the sight as 'like a big fireball that went around, with a great light around it again.'

'It spun and exploded in the sky,' Totto Eriksen from Tromsø told VG Nett. He spotted the lights as he walked his daughter Amalie to school. He said: 'We saw it from the Inner Harbor in Tromsø. It was absolutely fantastic. It almost looked like a rocket that spun around and around and then went diagonally down the heavens. 'It looked like the moon was coming over the mountain, but then came something completely different.'

'It was like a giant spiral - a shooting star that spun around and around. I initially thought it was a projector', added Axel Rose Berg, from Alta. Celebrity astronomer Knut Jørgen Røed Ødegaard told VG Nett he had never seen anything like the lights. He said: 'My first thought was that it was a fireball meteor, but it has lasted far too long. It may have been a missile in Russia, but I can not guarantee that it is the answer.' Air Traffic control in Tromsø claimed the light show lasted for two minutes, but admitted that was 'far too long to be an astronomical phenomena.'
Tromsø Geophysical Observatory researcher Truls Lynne Hansen was certain the light had been caused by a missile launch. He told Norwegian media that the missile had likely lost control and exploded. The spiral, he claimed, was the result of light reflecting on the leaking fuel. He was quoted as saying the light was sunlight, despite the strange lights showing up at night.
The Barents Observer quoted Norwegian Defence spokesman Jon Espen Lien as saying that the Norwegian military does not know what the lights were - but that they were probably from a Russian missile. He said it was normal for Russia to use the White Sea and the Barents Sea as a testing ground for missiles. However a Moscow news outlet tonight quoted the Russian Navy as denying any rocket launches from the White Sea area. Norway should be informed of such launches under international agreements, it was stressed. The Russian Defence Ministry was unavailable for comment last night.

Police officer sees aliens at crop circle!

policec

A police officer contacted British UFO experts after seeing three aliens examining a freshly made crop circle near Avebury, Wiltshire.

The sergeant, who has not been named, was off-duty when he saw the figures standing in a field near Silbury Hill, and stopped his car to investigate. However, as he approached the 'men' – all over 6ft tall with blond hair – he heard "the sound of static electricity" and the trio ran away ''faster than any man he had ever seen''. The officer returned to his home in Marlborough, Wiltshire, and contacted paranormal experts and told them he had spotted a UFO.

Wiltshire Police has refused to comment on the incident, saying it is a ''personal matter'' for the officer involved. Crop circle researcher Andrew Russell, who is investigating the bizarre sighting on behalf of the officer, described the moment his sighting was made. He said: ''At first he thought they were forensic officers as they were dressed in white coveralls. He stopped his car and approached the field. ''The figures were all over 6ft and had blond hair. They seemed to be inspecting the crop. When he got to the edge of the field he heard what he believed to be a sound not dissimilar to static electricity. 'This crackling noise seemed to be running through the field and the crop was moving gently, close to where the noise was. ''He shouted to the figures who, at first, ignored him, not glancing at him. When he tried to enter the field they looked up and began running. 'He said; 'They ran faster than any man I have ever seen. I'm no slouch but they were moving so fast. I looked away for a second and when I looked back they were gone. ''I then got scared. The noise was still around but I got an uneasy feeling and headed for the car. For the rest of the day I had a pounding headache I couldn't shift.''

The bizarre incident occurred on the morning of July 6 this year. The officer claims the three figures were examining a crop circle, which had appeared several days earlier, when he stopped his car and began walking towards them. However, the mysterious beings disappeared when he ''looked away for a second'' and he contacted UFO experts after witnessing other paranormal activity. A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: ''The police officer was apparently off duty when this happened so we have no comment to make because it is a personal not a police matter.''

Crop circle expert Colin Andrews, who investigated the incident alongside Andrew Russell, said he is ''convinced'' by the police officer's story. He said: ''I am quite convinced the officer had an experience that day and one that we have not fully explored. ''I think with the unusual movement of the being and the poltergeist experiences there is too much additional information to say that is something in nothing.''

Ontario 'morphing' UFO photographed at close range

OntUFO

An Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, man witnessed and took photographs September 17, 2009, of a low flying UFO overhead in Scarborough, according to a statement released by Paul Shishis.

The photographed object does not fit standard UFO descriptions of disc and triangle-shaped objects, but appeared to "morph" in shape, according to Shishis.

He said the object was 100 yards away and between 300 and 500 feet in altitude, when it appeared to "open up," and then "looked like a long sheet of some material - that was approximately 10 to 15 feet in length."

Following is the unedited statement Shishis released September 25, 2009 as a letter to "John Bro."

Hi John, I'm in shock once again man. I 'm real busy at work //-home -bummer - considering all that is happening !

Now here we go again! 3 sightings today. I can tell you - something is definately happening around me and yesterday - there were more military-looking helicopters - apparently following me as I drove home .

OntUFO2

This morning - I was up earlier than usual - 5:20AM. I made some tea -was half asleep - and at 5:30am, I went outside to my deck . Here's the scary part, John. I thought in my mind-"show me a sign -if you're watching me."

Photo: Witness image was reduced in size for this page. Paul Shishis photo.

Within seconds - above where I was looking - I witnessed- one white flash - then paused for 2-3 seconds, more rapid white flashes. Then paused another 2-3 seconds - and witnessed another single white flash.

I was in shock - I silently made a request - and then it happened, eh?? I watched in amazement - hoping for any other flashes - or signs of running lights.

OntUFO3

Later I was at work in Scarborough - and I stepped outside - just before 1:00pm. I looked up - and saw a strange large, black object - heading directly towards me. I then pulled my camera from my pocket and start filming.

Photo: Witness image was reduced in size for this page. Paul Shishis photo.

Immediately, I was able to record the apparently morphing object - as it was approaching from the east. It was only about 100 yards away - at a height of between 300-500 ft. I was hoping for a witness - and then 3 miraculously just showed up!

Then the object appeared to 'open-up' - and it looked like a long sheet of some material - that was approximately 10 to 15 feet in length. I will send all of the photos of this bizarre thing - and you can decide for yourself. I then got into my car and went driving off in the direction that it was traveling; -north / northeast. I proceeded to drive through a maze of industrial streets - and saw nothing.

After a few minutes - I decided to head back for lunch. Immediately, I was startled to see that - approximately 500 yds away - there it was again. I then saw a brilliant, white object - hovering to the north of me. This one appeared to be about a quater- mile away - and maybe a half mile in altitude. I then took some more pictures and a video clip.

I have tried to photograph the white stationary ones in the past - but they never seem to show up in my photos. I have seen what looks like a red light or "aura" around others - and haven't been able to image them. But today I was able to. Maybe it was due to the closeness / proximity - but I got much better detail in the pictures-you be the judge.

UFO sightings over Britain more than triple this year

Beware the little green men – the number of unidentified flying object (UFO) sightings has more than tripled this year, Ministry of Defence documents reveal.

By Jasper Copping

The so-called "X Files" show that there have been 394 claims reported to the MoD's UFO desk from January until the end of last month, making it by far the "busiest" year on record.

Last year, there were only 118 sightings over the same period. The previous highest number was in 1997 – the first for which figures are available – when there were 331 reports over the same period.

Experts say Britain is experiencing a "flap" – the term Ufologists use to describe a concentrated period of sightings.

Many of the reports are of UFOs spotted at night time and describe seeing strange lights in the sky. However, some are seen in daylight.

One report was from a pilot in an aircraft flying at about 4,500ft over Otmoor, in Oxfordshire, who saw a shiny, black, flying cylinder, 20-30ft long, flying about 200ft higher. According to the documents, the report was forwarded on to the UFO Desk by air traffic controllers.

Officials at the two main civilian airports in the area – Oxford and Cranfield – said the report had not come from them, raising the possibility it came from the nearby RAF base at Brize Norton.

A spokesman for the MoD was unable to confirm this, but added: "These types of report do tend to come in via Brize."

Air traffic controllers at Jersey airport also submitted a reported sighting to the UFO Desk. Paul Holley, from the airport, said they were notified of the sighting by a member of the public who had seen a bright orange object hovering over Gorey Castle, on the east of the island.

"This was reviewed against our radar recordings and there was nothing that we could attribute it to, so it technically became an unidentified flying object, which we reported," he said. "Our weather reports showed it was quite a clear night."

Gary Heseltine, a British Transport Police officer and UFO expert, said: "There has certainly been a big increase in sightings in Britain over the last 12 months.

"We are in the midst of a flap. The sightings reported to the MoD will give an indication, but the actual numbers of sightings will be much higher, because many will not contact officials, for fear of ridicule."

The "flap" comes as a new book reveals the long history of UFO sightings in Britain.

Dr David Clark studied tens of thousands of pages of official documents relating to UFOs, and kept in the National Archives, in Kew, which date back to before the First World War.

Dr Clarke, a university journalism lecturer and UFO expert, said: "The files show that officialdom does take an interest in these reports particularly during times of war or international tension.

"People seem to think that the Government knows what is going on and are hiding things, but there is nothing in the files to suggest that."

Britain's earliest "X File" relates to a UFO seen over Sheerness, in Kent, on October 13, 1912. The subsequent inquiry was presided over by Winston Churchill, then First Lord of the Admiralty. The aircraft was suspected at the time of being a German Zeppelin but subsequent research has ruled this out.

There were sightings in both world wars, including an incident shortly after the outbreak of the war, when a "phantom raid" was reported on a shipyard in Barrow, when troops guarding the works opened fire on at least two "cigar-shaped" aircraft. Again, no German or British aircraft were nearby.

In April 1944 a tail gunner on a Lancaster bomber returning from a raid over Germany reported four orange balls of light tailing behind. Other crew members also saw the strange lights and the pilot, Flight Lieutenant Arthur Horton, took evasive manoeuvres. He was unable to shake the lights off and yet there was no attack from the mystery lights, which eventually "seemed to burn themselves out".

One of the cases in the files that Dr Clarke finds most tantalising, involved two sightings by an RAF test pilot, Stan Hubbard, in 1950. In the first sighting, he reported seeing a flying "discus shape", around 100ft in diameter, approaching and pass overhead as he was walking along the runway at Farnborough airfield.

Two weeks later, he was in the airfield's control tower with five other airmen when they spotted a similar object and watched it for around 10 minutes. The incidents were investigated by the MoD's "Flying Saucer Working Party", but they concluded that it must have been a "quite normal aircraft".

The other incident that Dr Clarke says defies rational explanation occurred in April 1956, shortly before the Suez Crisis. Radar at RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk detected a number of unexplained blips, including one travelling at hypersonic speed. Airmen on the ground and travelling in a transport plane over the base saw bright lights, but when aircraft were sent to investigate, they could see nothing. Later that night, more UFOs were seen on radar at two other East Anglian airbases, and again on the following night. RAF Jets were sent up to intercept the UFOs and although they found it on their radar, they could not spot the aircraft.

Not all the incidents were reported by the military. In 1962, a 14-year-old schoolboy, Alex Birch, took a photograph apparently showing a fleet of flying saucers over Sheffield. He was summoned to London were he was interviewed by officials from the Air Ministry. They concluded the objects in the picture were most likely to have been produced by sunlight reflecting from "ice crystals" in the smoky atmosphere.

Other UFO sightings detailed in Dr Clarke's book include:

- The crew of a Lancaster bomber, returning from a raid over Turin in November 1942, reported seeing an object 200-300ft in length travelling at around 500mph.

- A Lancaster crew returning from a raid over southern France in 1944 reported seeing an "an enormous string of lights" on the starboard side of the plane. Ronald Claridge, the radio operator, said they were part of an "enormous disk". All the crew watched as the shape tracked alongside them for about three minutes, before suddenly accelerating away ahead of them.

-On the night of 20 March 1941, with the threat of a German invasion still strong, five separate coastal radar stations reported massive formations of aircraft heading towards Britain, but when fighters were scrambled, they could find nothing. The same phenomenon occurred the following night and was repeated over the following weeks. The cause was never discovered.

-In 1956 a US fighter was scrambled from an airbase in Kent to shoot down a UFO tracked by radar over East Anglia. He found the UFO on his radar and "locked on" to the target but as he began to close in, it vanished.

Argentina: Man Photographs Aerial Enigma

argiufo

The man in question decided not to disclose his identity due to the very real fear of being mocked when events of this sort occur. While he refused to go public with the event, a friend convinced him to go public in Diario San Rafael and after being promised that his identity would not be made known, he provided the information to the paper's newsroom.

According to Diario San Rafael, it all began last Saturday around 15:00 hours in the vicinity of the Nautical Club, when the protagonist approached the shoreline to ascertain fishing conditions, as he is an avid fan of the activity.

"I stopped the car that I drove to the location and some 200 meters away, I saw a strange object hovering above the lake surface. For this reason I decided to get out of the car and take a picture of it with my cell phone. It was suspended in the air, barely a meter over the surface, and was completely silent," said the witness in a handwritten note.

He added that while he tried to photograph it with his cellphone, the object began to emit a buzzing sound and, blowing powerfully over the water's surface, stirring it, began to ascend. At that time, and while the object rose into the air, he took photos of its strange silhouette.

As shown in the image (the low resolution is due to the fact that a cellphone was used to take it) the man must have applied the camera's zoom to get a closer look at what was going on. Four pictures later, the object vanished into the skies above.

"The apparition didn't frighten me," added the startled local. "In fact, I liked it because these things interest me. I beleive that there must be life on other planets."

As far as repercussions that may have been created by making this strange episode known, he stated that: "the matter is left to people's individual opinion. Let everyone draw their own conclusions. I saw it and was lucky enough to photograph it."

UFO 'filmed for 40 minutes' by Chinese scientists during solar eclipse

Could this finally be it - 40 minutes of undisputed proof that we are not alone?
Scientists at the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, China believe it is a real possibility that this footage of an unidentified flying object is the evidence we have all been waiting for.
They have confirmed 40 minutes of footage of the object was captured during this summer's solar eclipse - and that research has already started on a year-long investigation to find out what it is.And the scientists were not the only ones to capture the walnut-shaped object on camera.
The clear, daylight sighting occurred over Deqing in Guandong Province. Dozens of students claimed to have seen the object sailing through the air during a rooftop observation of the July 22 solar eclipse.
At least nine of the students photographed it, producing such incredible images as those here

chinaufo1. chinaufo2
The UFO was also seen to change colour and shape, with the students claiming it initially appeared to be a glowing blue colour, but later darkened.
Yesterday Chinese media outlet Sina.com reported that the Purple Mountain Observatory and Chinese Academy of Sciences claimed:
'China had discovered near the sun, by observation staff, an unidentified object. Its physical nature remains to be further studied.
'Currently manpower is being organised to deal with this data, complete the data analysis and reveal the scientific results. This will take at least one year's time to finalise.
'Purple Mountain Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences Fellow Ji Hai-sheng said at present it is impossible to speculate what the unidentified object is.
'However research has started.'
The UFO world is already waiting with bated breath for the results to come in.

Amazing Sighting Over Tenerife Reported

We have been receiving reports of a very unusual sighting over Tenerife at 11:05 on the 29th June. Witnesses describe a satellite like object moving quite slowly which appeared to expand for a period of 10 to 15 seconds into a brilliant white light before slowly reducing in luminosity and size until it completely disappeared about 10 seconds later. Owing to the aspect, speed and way this object behaved meteorites and satellites have been ruled out. If any one reading this also saw this object please send your report in to the email address provided. You can also contact Mike Collins or Ellie Sand directly on 922138134 or 650857808

UFO alert over cylinder in the sky

A mysterious cylindrical object has been spotted in the skies above the Black Country.
Retired teacher Mike Tunnicliffe was left scratching his head after seeing the UFO from his Walsall garden yesterday afternoon.
Mr Tunnicliffe, who works part time at County Bridge Primary School, ran to get his camera and snapped the strange shaped object. He’s hoping Express & Star readers might know what it is.
The 63-year-old of Sutton Road said: “It was a long shiny black cylinder shape, pointed at one end like a pencil.
“From where I was standing it was around 30ft long and around 400ft off the ground. It was vertical, pointing at the ground. “It came so quickly then within five minutes it was gone again. “I live close to the arboretum where there have been balloon festivals before, but I am sure it wasn’t a hot air balloon.
“Nor was it a tethered balloon or blimp. I am at a loss at to what it could possibly be.”
Mr Tunnicliffe said he saw the shape at 2.45pm yesterday. It appeared over the Mellish Road area, over Calderfields golf course then towards Lichfield Road.
A recent siting of a UFO pictured in the Black Country was hailed as one of the most important pieces of evidence of alien life.
The image, which caused excitement among UFO boffins, was captured by a visitor to Dudley Castle and is the latest in a string of sightings in the region.
In 2007 there were reports of a Dorito-shaped flying object which was spotted in Dudley and Wednesfield.
The photograph was sent to a detective constable, Gary Heseltine, who collects sightings of UFOs.

Lights in the sky: Builder on rooftop snaps four 'UFOs' flying over London

By Caroline Graham 18th March 2009 from Mail online

It's a scenic shot that appears to be out of this world.

Taken on a mobile phone early one morning it captures the London landscape as well as four curious lights hovering over the Houses of Parliament. Could they be UFOs?

londonufos

Derek Burden was working on the 16th floor of a building in Covent Garden in the capital's West End when he took the picture at 8.30am.
But it was only when he looked at the image a few days later with his wife Sarah that he noticed the eerie shapes in the cloudy sky.
Mr Burden, 40, said: I was waiting for some materials to arrive so I thought I would step out onto the balcony to have a cup of tea. I was 16 floors up and I thought I would take some pictures of the view for my wife who doesn't get to come to London much.
I didn't notice anything at the time because I was focusing on getting in all the sights but when I showed Sarah that weekend she said What are those lights in the corner?
Mr Burden, from Luton, said the lights are not any kind of reflection, claiming he took the picture outside with no office lights behind him.
He added: The picture clearly shows four saucers all the same size. I've shown loads of the guys on the building sites and they're all amazed.
I took the picture to Boots as well and had it blown up - it looks wicked.
So are the supposed space ships aliens travelling on their daily commute, or perhaps some outer space shoppers heading up West? Mr Burden is stumped. I haven't a clue what the saucers are. I've never really believed in all that, he said. But it's a big old place out there and I think the picture speaks for itself.

UFO seen by Chinese officials

Chinese officials have reported a UFO sighting while they were on an airplane and, in case anyone thought it was just a case of baijiu-induced hallucinations, they snapped pictures of it too.
In a report from Xinhua, the government-sponsored news agency, a group of journalists and officials were on a Southern Airlines flight in late February when one of them noticed an unusual luminous object traveling alongside their vessel.
After excitedly pointing it out to everyone around him, one journalist managed to snap a few photos before the object suddenly changed directions and swerved north east. The witnesses debated whether it had been a plane – but later, another plane did appear and everyone agreed that it looked nothing like the unidentified object they'd just seen.

Portugal UFO Amazes Entire Town

Michael Cohen m.cohen@allnewsweb.com

Residents of the town of Campo Maior in the Alentejo region of Portugal have reported seeing a low flying UFO that at one stage hovered just above a residents garden.
At 7.30pm on February the 17th an elderly woman was in her backyard when she saw a glowing object illuminate the entire area. The woman was alone but her daughter who lived nearby also saw the otherworldly object.
In another part of town the same object was seen by an amazed couple who managed to capture the event (photos below) in spite of their initial stunned surprised. Another witness reported seeing the object hover above a nearby church.
Campo Maior is an ancient Roman site: continuing the trend of UFO sightings in areas of some historical significance.
It appears that recent photographs of UFOs have been getting clearer and the contours of the flying craft often can be seen, in contrast to past photos often showing light spots. Is this part of an Alien plan to slowly condition humans to their presence? Are visitors from space unilaterally planning to openly announce their presence here soon without getting consulting earthly governments?

Disc Shaped UFO, Wurzburg, Germany, March 8, 2009

Last Sunday I had a rather strange encounter with a disturbing object in the sky above Wurzburg, Germany. I was walking along the railroad lines along the river Main to scout new fishing locations. It was already pretty late, it was getting dark, I started to freeze and I wanted to move back towards the city, when I noticed the silence.

There was no car, nothing. I stopped and looked around me. Although it was a pretty bad day to be out, nature had a strange beauty in the fading daylight.

Suddenly I got a strange feeling in my chest, like when I was standing on a Vibrating platform, but only very faint. Suddenly I felt weak and then I noticed an object in the sky.

It was hovering just at the base of the deep hanging clouds disappeared and every once in awhile into the moving clouds maintaining its altitude.

There was no sound except some light wind, only the Humming strange feeling inside my body, maybe like pulsating electricity, I have no idea, I have not felt like that before.

At first, while it was still pretty close, I did not move at all. I was like in a shock. But while it slowly moved away I realized that what I was seeing might be quite unique and took out my cell phone.

I wanted to take a picture but the display was not working right. The images had stripes and pressing the trigger did not do anything.

Only when the object was already pretty far it worked, I shot the attached picture and then, seconds later, the disk was covered in clouds once more and I never saw it again. Here are a few facts:

size: can not tell, but I would guess it was pretty big, maybe like 50 meters? The clouds, although deep this day, are still a few hundred meters above ground, so the thing should be bigger than just 10 meters.

Shape: flat gray disk with lights at the bottom

Height: just below the clouds / in the clouds

Time: around 6 am, dawn

Speed: slowly moving across the sky

Lights: three white / bluish and one red, no blinking etc.

Duration: very hard to tell, it felt much longer than it probably was, maybe 15 seconds for the whole encounter

As I work for the local city administration I can not give you my real name, nobody would take me serious anymore here in Wurzburg. I never believed in aliens or UFOs, but this thing got me thinking and I actually have no explanation for it satisfy.

Maybe you guys know more about this thing, especially because it does not look like the typical UFO that I have seen on the many silly photos on TV.

Regards,

Martin

Brazil UFO fries car radio

Michael Cohen m.cohen@allnewsweb.com

In Brazil an astonishing number of UFO sightings have been reported in the last few weeks. Ufologists are being inundated with emails from confused witnesses searching for answers.
One of the most intriguing sightings occurred in the mountains on the outskirts of the city of Urubici in the State of Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil.
On February 13 A Mr Genivaldo Rodrigues was standing outside his car taking a break from driving when he allegedly saw a silver disc zooming towards him. He grabbed his camera which he happened to have on him at the time and snapped a photo. He then saw another disc following the first and managed to capture an image of that too.
When he got back into the car his DVD player stopped working as did his GPS. After driving for a short time his car engine stopped on him twice for no apparent reason: he alleges this hadn’t ever occurred with this car before. He was able to re-set his GPS but his DVD player remains broken.
On March 4 at 4:30pm in Fortaleza in the Northeast of Brazil a Mr Milton Novaes also noticed a strange object in the sky reminiscent of the UFO seen recently in Chita, Siberia. He too managed to get a photo.
The variety of UFOs seen in Brazil is leading some Ufologists to wonder if the area is being targeted by Aliens from more than one planet or civilisation. ‘Perhaps Brazil is hosting an inter-galactic conference ‘one ufologist commented.

UPDATE ON The Golf de Sur video (below)

After analysing the video clip below, it was ascertained that the object was in fact a piece of unidentified debris, blown into the air by the jet wash of the aircraft.

Palms Golf del Sur, Feb 2007

The video below was taken by a holiday maker, he was filming the effects of jet wash as aircraft were taking off from Reina Sofia Airport, towards the end of the clip you will see an object appear to fly up from the sea at great speed. TSW is having this footage analysed, so keep checking back for the results. (See Update above)

More UFO's in Shropshire

Up to 30 Shropshire sightings of mysterious spheres of light have been logged by UFO experts in the last two months - with eight recorded in the last week.
Phillip Hoyle, of the UFO Investigation and Research Unit in Shrewsbury, is conducting an investigation into the phenomenon witnessed by dozens of county residents.
Reports of orange and white glowing spheres poured in this week.
Many people sighted the globes in the skies above the county on Tuesday night.
Joe Szpalek, from Castlefields, Shrewsbury, spotted a mystery ball of light at about 7pm on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old said: I saw what I thought was a meteor or meteorite which appeared to be dropping from the sky.
I phoned a mate who I knew in town to see if he saw anything crash or heard anything. It was a huge ball of light plummeting to the ground at a rate of knots.

The more I thought about it, it just looked like a solid white ball of light shooting quickly to the ground.

Debris

But Mr Hoyle said he believes there is no metrological explanation for the sightings as there was no electrical storm that night.
He said people have suggested the spheres could have been debris from rockets.
It became clear that people were trying to blame it on re-entry but it does not conform with that, he added.
A lot of these are small but they are usually connected to a larger sphere. I have had reports of them coming in from as far as Bury St Edmonds in Lancashire.
A number of spheres were sighted a number of years ago in Castlefields and people were claiming abduction and neighbours reported seeing the spheres above that particular house.
I am constantly doing interviews this week and I have a number next week, including one with a father and daughter from Sutton Maddock, near Telford, who saw three large spheres.
Mr Hoyle said the unit has a high number of incidents from the Church Stretton and Marshbrook area but that these spheres were spotted all over the county.

TSW is on TV!

The TSW team and a group of it's members were filmed by Antena Tres TV for an upcoming Television Special, on La Tejita beach near Montana Rojo last night (4th March). Greece: Clear UFO sighting near Corinth, multiple witnesses

Michael Cohen m.cohen@allnewsweb.com

ufogreece

It appears that visitors from other worlds are taking a real interest in Greece. Greek newspaper Espresso recently reported that earlier this month on Tuesday February 3rd a clear UFO sighting occurred on the Peloponnese Peninsula near the Isthmus of Corinth. The UFO was witnessed and reported to local the police by a number of people.
One of the witnesses, Mr Patapios Palaiologou, a 42 year old worker at a local casino was driving his daughter to school when he saw the UFO.
The time was 8am in the morning and I was with my daughter in our car. It was a sunny day and the sky was totally clear. Suddenly, I saw a huge object over the small hillside opposite the village where we live. It looked like nothing I had ever seen before and I could not believe it. I pointed it out to my stunned daughter. I got out of the car to get a better look. It appeared to be it about 400 meters above ground and it was huge, about 300 meters in diameter. It looked like the planet Saturn with a red ring around it and was metallic silver in colour.
According to Mr. Paleologos, the UFO remained suspended for about ten seconds, and then the ring began to vibrate at an incredibly fast pace. All of a sudden the object started to tremble very strongly and a few seconds later I saw a terribly intense glow on its right side. Then it disappeared! Indeed, it was incredible. I am confused. On the one hand I am happy to have witnessed such an event; on the other hand I know that few will believe me.
Mr Palaiologou reported the incident to the police and noted that they were extremely supportive, jotting down all details and mentioning that others had witnessed the same UFO near the same hill and some of the sightings had even occurred a week before. One other witness turned out to be an aunt of Mr Palaiologou, a Mrs Roula, who also remains shocked by what she saw I wish I knew what it was she commented.
Perhaps alien visitors are scanning ancient historic sites to gain an insight into human beings strange, often aggressive nature. Perhaps they themselves helped create these ancient civilisations and still like to keep an eye on their creations. Some ufologists might argue that the visiting aliens are trying to understand the amusing phenomenon whereby so many human beings and their elected officials  refuse to believe in their( the aliens) presence here: even as they make it so obvious.

Giant UFO seen by entire Siberian City

Michael Cohen m.cohen@allnewsweb.com

On February 15th of this year at around 6pm the residents of the south eastern Siberian city of Chita (population around 300,000) in Russia witnessed a giant UFO cross their city and then disappear over the horizon. Some managed to photograph the craft with their mobile phones. Shocked pedestrians stopped in the town centre and in parks and pointed to sky declaring the object to be a UFO. Above is a photo of the craft.
One witness, a Ms. Anna Kotchetkova , who saw the object after her sons excitedly alerted her to it observed that it looked like ‘nothing on earth’. The UFO was described by witnesses as being completely silent and emitting no lights, its colour was grey-black and looked like a triangle with smoothed edges. Its shape was somewhat irregular and there was said to be some blurriness about the craft.
Other witnesses attempted to photograph the UFO but couldn’t due to its speed and difficulty focusing however multiple photos are said to have surfaced. The UFO was estimated to be flying at around 500-1000 meters above land and appeared to be around the size of a Boeing 747. It was estimated to be moving at around 7 metres per second.
The incident is being widely reported in the Russian media and immediately after the sighting many members of the press made their way to the Siberian city. UFO research teams are also planning to visit the area to interview witnesses.
Many suspect a secret UFO base lies somewhere in the vast spaces of Siberia. This sighting adds weight to this view.

Wichita UFO Sighting

wichita_ufo

It flew fast like a jet, made a whirling sound and left an odd glow.
That's how an amateur photographer described a flying machine he spotted in the skies near Rose Hill on Friday. The UFO world is now paying attention to his photograph.
On Monday, the photo appeared under the headline "Weird Object in Wichita," on UFO Digest, a Canadian Web site.
The object looks like some kind of new-technology fighter jet, possibly a prototype, said UFO Digest editor and publisher Dirk Vander Ploeg.
Jarrod Bartlett, spokesman for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems-Wichita, said in an e-mail that he checked with flight operations staff "and they were not able to identify the aircraft. We do not often get calls regarding unidentified aircraft."
McConnell Air Force Base declined to comment.
The man who captured the image said he took the photo at 8:42 a.m. Friday near 210th and Prairie Creek Road, about three miles south of Rose Hill.
"I was facing east when I shot the photo," the man, who asked not to be identified, said in an e-mail.
He described what he saw: "The object came out of the clouds really fast. It sounded kind of like a jet but much, much softer and had a whirling sound with it.
"I only got off one shot because it was really close before I realized it was something different. It went back upward, much like a jet, and was gone.
"There was a odd pinkish glow in the sky behind it."
In a telephone interview, the man said he takes still-life photos as a hobby. He said it was fortunate he had his camera out when the object flew into his view because he saw it for only a few seconds.
"The only problem was I had a real slow lens... . I wasn't planning on taking a picture of anything moving," he said.
He said he used to work at Boeing and has seen a lot of aircraft over the years.
"It didn't sound like one of these jets that I hear all the time.... It was much quieter, much quieter," he said.
He noticed that the flying machine's exterior looked black and shiny.
He estimated the object came no closer than 1,000 feet above the ground. It swooped in as if it was on "a bombing run."
"Then in one smooth motion, it went back up," he said.
After he took the photo, relatives urged him to send it to the UFO publication. He was reluctant.
"I didn't want people to think I'm nuts," he said.
Vander Ploeg, the UFO Digest publisher, said he is a former small-plane pilot who is familiar with various aircraft. He said he was confident that the image is not a hoax.
"But I can't tell you what it is," he said.
"I've never seen a plane that looks like that."

German jets in UFO alert

FIGHTER pilots were put on red alert in a UFO drama over Germany, it emerged yesterday.
Air traffic controllers tracked a mystery object speeding across the entire country.
Investigators have checked and excluded conventional aircraft, weather balloons and freak atmospheric conditions.
Axel Raab of Germany’s air traffic safety office, the DFS, said: “We have ruled out all the conventional possibilities — it is a mystery.”
There were dozens of reports of the object as it flew across southern Germany on January 19.
It vanished above an area used by US troops on training exercises.
Mr Raab said: “It confused radar operators because it kept flicking on and off the screen. Then it simply vanished.”

UFO photographed over the Llaima Volcano, Chile

ufochile

by Sandra Rodríguez-Beauchamp

On December 6, three days before the outstanding UFO sightings over Santiago de Chile were recorded, Army sergeant Fernando Yáñez Muñoz a snapped the above photo of what seems to be a starship hovering over the 3,125 meters high Llaima volcano, within the Congûillio National Park in southern Chile. One of the largest and most active volcanoes in Chile, the Llaima erupted violently on the first day of January, this year. Sergeant Munoz was on military duty at the time and with other officers who presumedly witnessed the UFO as well.

'The photo, if genuine, is remarkable and also rather beautiful' one ufologist commented. The UFO appears as bright white light and mirrors local Amerindian legends about ancestors and 'Star beings' coming down to earth bathed in glowing white light.

Is this UFO and the one seen over Santiago related? If so, in what way? Are the starship crews at work preventing further eruptions?  These questions remain unanswered, but most people in Chile – and everywhere else, for that matter – keep wondering about the magnitude and frequency of sightings in the “Southern Cone”, particularly Chile and Argentina.

RAF ordered to shoot down UFOs

Pilots have apparently fired upon the unidentified objects without success since the 1980s, according to Nick Pope, who used to run the Ministry of Defence's UFO project.

There was a faction in the MoD who said We want to shoot down a UFO and that will resolve the issue one way or another, he told The Sun.

We know of cases where the order has been given to shoot down - with little effect to the UFO.

Mr Pope claimed that the RAF only attempted to engage when the mysterious objects were perceived to be a threat.

He said: in the case of UFOs, whether the object is causing a threat is very much a pilot's judgement call. The public won't know unless it comes down in a heavily populated area.

The MoD refused to comment.

Earlier this month, residents in the Lincolnshire Wolds were left puzzled by the destruction of a wind turbine within hours of several sightings of strange glowing orbs.

At least half a dozen residents reported seeing the orange-yellow spheres, which some witnesses claimed were trailing tentacles.

Dorothy Willows, who lives a mile and a half from the wind farm, said she saw a low-flying object skimming across the sky towards the turbines on January 4.

The following morning, a 213ft glass fibre turbine was left crippled, with locals reporting hearing a loud bang like thunder.

One of the £1 million turbine's 65ft blades was ripped off and another severely damaged

Chupacabra photgraphed at La Pampa Airport, Argentina?

chupapic

The image was reportedly taken by amateur photographer Fabian Romano at a Macachin airport in La Pampa, Argentina.

According to the uncorroborated story that accompanies the picture on dozens of cryptozoology websites and blogs, the photographer spotted the fast-moving "being" but was only able to take a single photo before it flew away.

He reportedly sent the photo to local UFO study group which decided it showed a creature of high strangeness and forwarded it on to the police.

The blurb with the picture claims that officers used high-tech equipment to enhance the image, revealing that the animal had eye sockets and a beak. The special criminal division estimated that the creature could be up to 2ft 7 in tall, it is claimed.

But the story has been met with scepticism among experienced photographers, who point out that it would be impossible to tell the size of the object without knowing how close it was to the camera.

More mundane and plauside theories include that the photo is a long exposure shot of a bird, or an insect that flew too close to the camera.

Millions see UFO crash, Saudi Arabia

Astonishing events are occuring around the world and not as much as a word about them is being written or said in the West. In Saudi Arabia last week what might well have be a UFO, possibly crashing into earth, was witnessed by literally millions of people in the vicinity. Multiple photos of the object have come to light.
Arabic language forums are abuzz with Saudi citizens claiming to have witnessed what is even being described by some in the normally conservative Saudi Arabian press as a possible UFO either crashing to earth or simply executing manoeuvres designed to scare humans.  Others are claiming the object was an Asteroid or a Satellite. Witnesses are reported to be waiting for an explanation from local meteorological bureaus but have received no answers yet.
ON Wednesday 7th of January after evening prayers a large noise was heard in sky followed by the sighting of an intense large light heading from the west above the Al-Qasim region east of Saudi Arabias capital city Riyadh. Many locals had seen meteors prior to this but claimed this one did not fit the typical description at all: it was a blue green colour and was shooting out green lasers.
One witness Khalid commented No one has ever seen anything like it
Amazingly for an incident that hasnt even made the news in the West, the object was seen as far away as Kuwait. The complete absence of this story within western media is truly surprising as this was not your average incident involving a few people seeing strange things in the sky, the Saudi police recieved thousands of calls about the incident alone.

It was reported that thousands of people were terrified and many even began to pray. Some have posted messages on the web warning that this might be a sign from God for the Kingdoms silence on Gaza. Locals in the region where the object appeared to be heading claim they heard an explosion and felt a large tremor indicating that the object crashed. The Saudi government has not released information regarding the crash site but is reported to have sealed the area.
The pictures below were taken of the object:

China: Dazzling UFO seen and flimed by eight firefighters

Report by Audrey Chan

A remarkable UFO was seen and filmed in China by an entire squadron of fire-fighters in Liu Pan Shui City in the province of Guizhou through a camera with a 700X zoom capability. One of the fire-fighters, Wang Jia Wei, noticed an odd looking, brightly flashing star moving in a south easterly direction and went inside the fire-fighters barracks to get a camera.
Luckily for Wang he was able to find a Panasonic camera used by his comrades to record damage caused by fires that allowed him to zoom in on the mysterious object seven hundred times. At that point Wang could see that the object was in fact two rotating spinning top shaped crafts or halves of a whole craft joined at a their bases.  They were flashing a multitude of colours: Purple, red, blue, orange, white and gold.
Wang then called his eight fellow fire-fighters out and they observed the slow moving craft for almost an hour until the craft suddenly vanished.
20 minutes of footage was recorded and have been showed to Chinese reporters. The firemen approached the Liu Pan Shiu meteorological bureau two days after the sighting to seek some answers. Surprised staff members working for the bureau were shown the footage but were unable to identify what the object might be, declaring that it is indeed a UFO. There has been no suggestion that the fire-fighters faked the sighting and this not believed to be the case by any involved parties, the footage has been handed to government astrological departments for further analysis.
The photo below is a verified still from the footage that our source has sent us. We believe a film should soon be available for veiwing and will post a link as soon as this occurs. The UFO corresponds to the craft often described in sightings around the word as a diamond UFO. These craft are usually seen at great heights and almost never seen on earth itself. This has lead some to believe they are highly evolved technology well beyond your standard saucer and might be used to travel from other civilized planets rather merely used to explore planets like earth after exiting a more substantial mother ship.
The incident has received wide coverage by mainstream media in China, although it has received no publicity in the west as far as we know. Hardly surprising, as this is a credible and compelling incident of the type Western Governments would rather people not know about. The Chinese Government, however, is known to take a more open minded approach to UFOs and generally regards them as fact.

Donut shaped UFO caught on phone cam near Conisholme Wind Turbine Site

THIS donut-shaped UFO was caught on camera near Conisholme wind farm a few weeks before the wind turbine was damaged.

Brian Lee, 55, was driving on Billings Gate road in South Somercotes at 4.30pm on December 9 and stopped his car to take some pictures of a dramatic sunset on his mobile phone.

dnt1

It wasn't until he returned home and looked over the images that he discovered the strange object in one of them.

He said: I looked at my phone and just saw this donut-shaped thing in the sky; I didn't know what to think it was.

The image, facing a south westerly direction, also shows the headlights of a car approaching. The mystery object can be seen in the sky amidst the dark clouds.

Mr Lee, from nearby Saltfleet, said: I've sat on this photo for a while because I just didn't know what to think about it, but after seeing all your stories in the Leader about the wind farm UFOs I thought maybe I should show somebody.

When asked if he believed UFOs were of alien origin, Mr Lee said he likes to keep an open mind, but added: This isn't some sort of hoax as I really don't have any interest in the whole UFO thing. I just thought it was really strange.

UFO Caught on Phone Cam in Torviscas

Mick Porter had just finished installing the steelwork at this villa in Torviscas. He had packed up his tools and was ready to depart, when he decided to take a picture of his work. It was taken on his mobile phone at 2:30pm on the 8th December, he never noticed an object at the time but when printing the picture last Monday, he realised what had been caught by the mobile phone cam and sent it to TSW. We are at present in the process of arranging for the picture to be analysed and will post the results as soon as we have them.

Update

UFO wind turbine crash site sealed

Security operatives backed by snarling dogs have sealed off the Conisholme wind farm in Lincolnshire, to prevent alien hunters making off with the remains of the UFO which earlier this month seriously damaged one of the turbines, the Sun reports.

Ufologists are pretty well convinced there is an extraterrestrial explanation for the incident which saw one turbine blade ripped off and another seriously damaged by a vessel "about 170ft long" following numerous reports of mystery "low-flying aircraft", lights in the sky and, finally, a "big bang".

Dale Vince of Ecotricity, which operates the site, said last week: "We don't have an explanation at the moment as to what the cause was. We have been crawling all over it and have sent bits off for analysis to see if we can work out what caused it. Until we have some idea, some plausible explanation that it was not a UFO, I don't think we should rule it out."

Well, German experts have indeed now moved in to attempt to pinpoint the cause of the carnage. Should they prove that ET isn't actually to blame, the black helicopter mob have a fall-back position - an ultrasecret robot stealth aircraft project hinted at by MoD, according to the Sun.

UFO turbine debris sent to German forensic scientists

A 65ft blade from the 290ft turbine fell off and a second was bent in the mysterious incident in Conisholme, Lincs, on Wednesday.

Hundreds of local witnesses claimed to have seen bright flashing spheres in the skies above the turbine, and many are convinced the damage was caused by a flying saucer.

Scientists at manufacturers Enercon have been looking into the mystery, and dismissed the theories that either a chunk of ice thrown from another turbine, or frozen urine dropped from a passing plane, was the cause.

A source told The Sun: It is impossible to get a lump of ice on a wind turbine blade big enough to cause that kind of damage, let alone be flung from one to another.

Also, turbines have sensors in the blade. If they detect ice forming they turn themselves off.

Additionally, any large lump of ice would not have melted so quickly in the cold weather and would probably have left a dent in the ground. No debris was found other than remains of the turbine.

If there is a rational explanation, the investigation will find it.

Could this be the smoking gun! On January 7th 2009 an object of unknown origin and type, collided with a wind turbine near Louth Lincolnshire. The following report appeared in several national and local newspapers

January 7th 2009 - UFO Hits Wind Turbine
There was a massive ball of light with tentacles going right down to the ground
over the wind farm. It was huge. With the tentacles, it looked just like an octopus.

- John Harrison, Resident of Louth, Lincolnshire, England

turbine1

On January 7, 2009, at 4 AM in Louth, Lincolnshire, on the east coast of England, local residents were awakened by a sound and some reported a giant explosion in the air after several other residents earlier in the night had reported seeing flashing orangey-yellow spheres over Lincolnshire where the wind turbine was seriously damaged. The Sun reports this statement from the U. K. Ministry of Defence: Unless there is evidence of a potential threat, there is no attempt to identify the nature of each (UFO) sighting.

Baffled power chiefs said of the smash in Conisholme, Lincs: We have a team investigating. There was no trace of the missing blade. A UFO expert said: We are very excited.

It should be noted that several sightings of red/ornage spheres have been reported recently here in Tenerife.
